My Background.

I was born on May 4, 1960 in New Hartford, New York. I was raised in Rome, New York, along with a brother and two sisters, by my mother and stepfather, who was in the United States Air Force for twenty years. I never knew my biological father.

A sports enthusiast, I love the New York Yankees, the Buffalo bills and the Syracuse Orange- Go Cuse! I also play tennis and work out regularly.

While professionally I have been both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, like Jesus himself, my heart has always gone out to the broken and the lost. My mother made me, and my three siblings, go to church every Sunday and I always known that God is real. But my personal walk with Jesus did not really begin until after law school when I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that changed my life forever. I have never wanted to be a pastor; all-the-while possessing a strong desire to know and teach God’s Word. Over the span of the last thirty years I have served in numerous capacities in the church, including teen ministry, security, teacher, deacon, elder, licensed minister, board of directors. Although I initially resisted, I felt the draw to go to seminary in 2015 and I ultimately enrolled in Alliance Theological Seminary (Online). It has taken me four years, but I will graduate in the spring with a master’s degree in Biblical Studies. I was ordained in 2018.
